Real Vintage Wholesale Blanks FAQs
Real Vintage Wholesale Blanks – Frequently Asked Questions
What do you mean by “Real vintage blanks”?
Not the mall knockoffs. Not the “retro-inspired” tees with fake fades. Real vintage means the real deal: authentic, unprinted blanks from the 1970s through the early 00s. Shirts that actually lived through basement shows, factory floors, and thrift store cycles before thrifting was a hashtag. We sort, clean, select and bundle them so you can screenprint, embroider and rework. Use a canvas that already carries a story in its fibers. It’s not “made to look vintage.” It is vintage – and that’s what makes every piece in every run you produce on these blanks truly one-of-a-kind.
What’s in a 12-pack (t-shirts) or dozen (work-shirts)?
Options by category:
Vintage Workwear Shirts: Short sleeve, long sleeve, or mixed sleeve dozens in classic greens & blues (think Red Kap, Dickies, Big Ben, etc.).
Photos show the vibe, not the exact shirts.
Vintage Blank T-Shirts: Mixed packs, single-size packs, size ranges (S/M, L/XL, All XL) or curated packs – Printer’s Dozens, all single-stitch, or style (e.g., 90s heavyweight, 50/50, pocket tees).
What’s a Printer’s Dozen?
It’s our term for a 12-pack of uniform vintage single-stitch blanks. It’s a consistent lot designed for printers, and makers who need a size and color run.
Single-stitch vs double-stitch — what’s the difference?
Single-stitch (70s–early 90s): one row at the sleeve/hem.
Double-stitch (90s+): two rows of stitching at the hems; a bit sturdier.
How do your condition grades work?
Grade A: No holes or major stains. Steam, print, sell.
Grade B: Light flaws (tiny mark, loose seam, missing button). Quick TLC and go.
Grade C: Obvious wear (holes, paint, stains) — perfect for reworks/distressed design runs.
Remember: it’s vintage, not Shein.
What fabrics should I expect?
A mix: 100% cotton, 50/50, and 90s heavyweight cotton. If you want a specific vibe, use Era & Style Packs or all single-stitch.
Are vintage t-shirts Real to size?
Usually, no. A vintage “large” often wears more like today’s medium. Blame old-school cuts, decades of wash cycles, and the fact that cotton back then didn’t believe in personal space. If you’re planning size runs, assume they skew smaller – and maybe size up to keep everyone breathing easy.
Can I choose colors/sizes?
You choose pack type (mixed, single size, size range, single-stitch, era/style). We curate the rest for variety and quality.
Do you print for me?
Nope. We’re the blank canvas people, not the print shop people. We dig up the vintage t-shirts and work-shirts, clean ’em, sort ’em, and get them to you. What you do after – screen print, embroider, tie-dye, or start your own cult brand – that’s on you.

Sustainability angle?
Think of it as recycling, but cooler. Every bundle keeps vintage shirts in circulation and out of the landfill pile. Instead of soulless fast fashion, your small-batch run is built on fabric that already lived a life – which means what you make is more than merch, it’s a second act.
